Saddlery & Farriery
Every year, World Horse Welfare is organising the Project Romania saddlery and farriery training courses, aimed at people who are already practising these trades, but also at people who want to learn the crafts and open up a small individual business. The courses take place in rural locations across Romania, decided by World Horse Welfare team through field investigations.Rural Romania is heavily dependent on the horse for transport and for working the field. More over, rural tourism is starting to develop and the leisure horse is also increasing its numbers. Therefore, we believe there is an important market here for well trained saddlers and farriers.
