We pledge further support for Romania
The latest AVER (Asociatia Veterinara Ecvina Romania) meeting in Romania saw Chief Executive, Roly Owers, promise to fund vet speakers to enable the seminars to continue for the next three years, providing a boost to the hand-over of Project Romania.With the final year of Project Romania underway, we are turning our attention towards the future of the educational initiative and how we can leave a lasting legacy. By ensuring that AVER has the resources to offer the seminars, then we are hopeful that the education of vets – and in turn, horse owners – continues to develop and improve, positively impacting upon horse welfare in the country.
Roly comments: “I’ve been really encouraged by the commitment of so many vets to AVER, and want to help them take on this project themselves. The students and practitioners really want the seminars to continue so I’m pleased that the charity can further help by funding speakers.”
